MAXAM Outdoors, in collaboration with the Ebro's Miranda Technology Centre and CELLMAT (University of Valladolid) is participating in a research project on the high density polyethylene tubes used in hunting and shooting cartridges.

The aim is to improve the performance of the tube through micro and macro analysis and its relationship with its manufacturing process.
This is included in the Research & Development activities at MAXAM Outdoors with particular emphasis on the environmental impact of polyethylene in both the final product and waste and consumption generated during the production of the tube.

This research project is funded by the State Collaboration Programme for the Investigation, Development and Innovation on Societal Challenges within the State Scientific Investigation and Technology Innovation Plan for 2013-2016.
